COMMUNITY BENEFIT SOCIETY

The Powerful Community Benefit Society is a renewable energy co-operative and part of the directory of co-operatives. It was formed in April 2021.

This co-op will be built from and with the local community in order to get solar panels onto a typical, long terraced street in Walthamstow, London. The aim is to expand the reach and scale of solar arrays on these residential streets and surrounding larger rooftops.

A share offer will be launched in 2021 opening up this community benefit society to a wider community ownership.

Right now we’re working to sign everyone on the street up.
